About the position

The Physical Security Engineer role focuses on supporting both on-premises and cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on physical security technologies. The position requires hands-on experience and a solid understanding of various security systems and cloud requirements, making it essential for ensuring the safety and integrity of physical and digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Support on-prem and cloud infrastructure for physical security systems.
• Implement and manage physical security technologies such as PAC controllers and video management systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures.
• Monitor and analyze security systems for potential vulnerabilities.
• Utilize cloud monitoring and alerting technologies to ensure system integrity.

Requirements

• 5 years of hands-on experience in supporting on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Windows server; experience with other operating systems is highly desirable.
• Experience with physical security technologies such as PAC controllers, video management systems, and PIAM solutions.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including VPN, load balancing, and DNS in the cloud.
• Advanced understanding of cloud requirements related to storage, networking, and security best practices.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting technologies such as Grafana or Datadog.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of Comcast Cloud (CCP) and Comcast Tenant Security Framework (TSF) is highly desirable.
