About The Position
Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Physical Therapist to join our acute care rehabilitation team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. This is a rotating position through different areas of inpatient care including general med/surg, cardiac, ortho, neuro, oncology, and ICU. It also includes rotation through wound care (inpatient and outpatient). Prior wound care experience is not required. Optional rotations are available in one or more of the following specialty areas: inpatient cardiac rehab, outpatient neuro, and/or outpatient ortho, if interested. The schedule consists of five 8 hr days per week, working every 4th weekend (with days off around that weekend), and one holiday per year. Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred. The position provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.
