About the position

The Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy is responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses to create effective treatment plans aimed at healing, recovery, and maximizing functional independence. This role requires a compassionate approach, maintaining patient confidentiality, and fostering a positive environment to encourage patient success. The therapist will implement treatment plans, document patient care data, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and record patient care data following guidelines and regulations.
  • Prepare for evaluations by obtaining patient history and understanding diagnoses.
  • Select and administer tests and measures to formulate diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Establish treatment plans based on evaluations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patients' support systems.
  • Assess and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
  • Oversee support staff including PTA, ATC, and PT aides.
  • Promote JAG Physical Therapy in the community through presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Completed state regulated CEU requirements.
  • Valid CPR License.
  • Experience with EMR software preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
  • Basic computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with EMR software is preferred.
