About the position

The Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy is responsible for assessing patients' conditions and creating personalized treatment plans to promote healing and improve functional independence. This role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and maintaining patient confidentiality in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, relevant state licensure, and a commitment to patient success.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' conditions and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Collect and record patient care data following regulatory guidelines.
  • Prepare for evaluations by obtaining patient history and understanding diagnoses.
  • Select and administer tests and measures to evaluate patients.
  • Establish treatment plans based on evaluation results and best practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patients' support systems.
  • Reassess and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
  • Oversee support staff including PTA, ATC, and PT aides.
  • Promote JAG in the community through lectures and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Completed state regulated CEU requirements.
  • Valid CPR License.
  • Experience with EMR software preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
  • Basic computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with EMR software.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement systems and their impact on patient care.
