About the position
As a Physical Therapist Mobile Out Patient at Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and delivering physical therapy programs aimed at helping clients, patients, and residents recover and improve their mobility. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough examinations, evaluations, and interventions for individuals affected by injury or disease. You will utilize various tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions while adhering to safety protocols and documenting all relevant client information for evaluation purposes. In this position, you will establish therapeutic plans tailored to each client's needs and modify them as necessary based on ongoing assessments. Educating clients and their family members about treatment plans, schedules, and self-exercises to be continued at home will be a key aspect of your role. You will also be expected to demonstrate knowledge of age-related treatments and evaluations, ensuring that your approach is appropriate for clients of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders. Your work will involve adhering to accepted clinical practice guidelines and departmental regulations, ensuring that all documentation meets the required standards. Flexibility in accepting variable work schedules and assignments is essential, as you may be required to interact with various stakeholders outside of the department, including providers, case managers, and third-party payers. Additionally, you may supervise assistants, aides, and students in providing care and treatment, and you will be expected to contribute to the ongoing education and training of your peers in your areas of expertise. This role may also involve focusing on clients receiving intervention in post-acute, long-term care, and home health care environments, depending on facility needs and assigned locations.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
- Valid driver's license may be required when applicable.
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or to be obtained within the first 60 days of employment.
