About the position

The Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy is responsible for assessing patients' conditions and developing tailored treatment plans to promote healing and improve functionality. Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and foster a positive environment.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collect and record patient care data according to guidelines and regulations.
  • Prepare for evaluations by obtaining patient history and understanding diagnoses.
  • Select and administer tests and measures to formulate diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Establish treatment plans based on evaluation results and best practices.
  • Reassess and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
  • Oversee support staff including PTA, ATC, and PT aides.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Completed state regulated CEU requirements.
  • Valid CPR License.
  • Experience with EMR software preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
  • Basic computer skills.

  • Experience with EMR software.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement systems and their impact on patient care.
