About the position

The Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy is responsible for assessing patients' conditions and developing tailored treatment plans to promote healing and improve functionality. This role emphasizes maintaining patient confidentiality, fostering a positive environment, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The position requires strong clinical decision-making and communication skills, along with a commitment to patient success.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and foster a positive environment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Collect and record patient care data according to guidelines and regulations.
• Prepare for evaluations by obtaining patient history and understanding diagnoses.
• Select and administer tests and measures to formulate diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Establish treatment plans based on evaluation results and best practices.
• Reassess and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
• Oversee support staff including PTA, ATC, and PT aides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Completed state regulated CEU requirements.
• Valid CPR License.
• Experience with EMR software preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
• Basic computer skills.
