About the position
The Physical Therapist-Neuro position at Learning Services Corporation involves providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation services to patients in their own homes and communities. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care for individuals with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological disorders, utilizing an evidence-based approach to achieve durable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs.
- Develop integrated treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide individualized services to patients in their homes and communities.
- Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and co-workers regarding patient care.
Requirements
- Completion of Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with patients with traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries.
- Familiarity with evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
