As a Physical Therapist, you will work under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership, adhering to departmental policies and procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include performing objective assessments and developing comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. You will be responsible for the direct supervision of patients and the indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, as well as general supervision of Physical Therapy assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Responsibilities

  • Perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
  • Supervise patients directly and provide indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians.
  • Oversee the general supervision of Physical Therapy assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
  • Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient needs and progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
  • Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in the state of practice.
  • BLS certified with required certifications current before independent patient care.
  • Preferred experience of six months to one year in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy, particularly with adult and geriatric patients.
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly.
  • Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
