About the position
RiverView Health, a community owned, membership based non-profit organization, is seeking an On-Call Physical Therapist. This position is responsible for evaluating, assessing, and treating patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric. The Physical Therapist will be accountable for treatment planning, implementation of therapy interventions, discharge planning, and patient/family education. The role may involve working in various settings including inpatient care, skilled nursing facilities, sub-acute care, and outpatient care. Additionally, the position may require travel to Outreach Clinics to provide care and includes a weekend and holiday rotation. The salary range for this position is $40.36 - $56.52, with the starting wage dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Provide therapy interventions and monitor patient progress.
- Conduct discharge planning and educate patients and families on care.
- Maintain therapy equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory.
- Work in various settings including inpatient care, skilled nursing facilities, sub-acute care, and outpatient care.
- Travel to Outreach Clinics as needed to provide care.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation.
Requirements
- Current State of Minnesota license in Physical Therapy in good standing.
- Master or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current American Heart BLS certification, or obtain certification within 4 months of hire.
