About the position
The Physical Therapist-PRN-Neuro position at Learning Services Corporation involves providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation services in a patient's home and community. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care for individuals with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. The therapist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to create and implement integrated treatment plans that address functional goals through evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients in their homes and communities.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements
- Completion of Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills with families, professionals, and co-workers.
