Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' needs for physical therapy and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of licensure and regulations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and respond to physician referrals.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with professional standards.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development to enhance treatment skills.
• Promote patient and family satisfaction and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
• Adhere to safety practices and recognize opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

• Post Graduate Certificate, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Virginia licensure or transitional license at the time of hire.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) from an AHA approved provider.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills or completion of computer training within the first year.
