About the position
The Physical Therapist (PRN) at Bon Secours is responsible for providing skilled therapeutic interventions to patients across various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and pediatric care. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and ensuring the delivery of effective therapy while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with departmental policies.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates patients and develops appropriate treatment plans with specific goals.
- Provides direct therapy to patients daily according to their plan of care.
- Maintains accurate records of treatment provided and patient progress in electronic medical records.
- Supervises physical therapist assistants and ensures quality of care.
- Coordinates with other disciplines and agencies to meet patient care needs.
- Promotes rehabilitation services and wellness activities to patients and families.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice or qualifications for traineeship/temporary license.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
