About the position

The Physical Therapist at Enhabit Home Health & Hospice plays a crucial role in examining and treating patients with physical impairments. This position focuses on improving mobility and function for individuals facing physical challenges, utilizing various physical modalities. The therapist will work under the supervision of the Branch Director and in accordance with physician orders, contributing to specialized programs aimed at enhancing patient care in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with physical impairments using physical modalities.
• Assist patients in improving mobility and function, as well as independent self-care skills.
• Administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services.
• Teach family members and other healthcare team members about patient care.
• Implement services according to physician's orders and established care plans.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must have dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be currently licensed in the state of employment.
