About the position
As an inpatient physical therapist, you will provide essential physical therapy services to assist patients in regaining their health and mobility. This role involves working in various inpatient healthcare settings, where you will assess patients' mobility, strength, and function, develop tailored treatment plans, maintain accurate records, and educate patients about their recovery process. Your contributions will be vital in helping patients build strength, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall functional abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' mobility, strength, and function.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Provide education to patients regarding their treatment and recovery process.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in an inpatient setting.
- Degree in a relevant field.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state/compact license.
