About the position
As a skilled nursing facility physical therapist, you will provide essential physical therapy services aimed at helping patients regain their health and mobility. This role involves assessing patients' mobility, strength, and function, developing tailored treatment plans, maintaining accurate records, and educating both patients and their families. Your contributions will be vital in assisting individuals to develop strength, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall functional abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' mobility, strength, and function.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a skilled nursing setting.
- Degree in a relevant field.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state/compact license.
