About the position
The Physical Therapist (PT) PRN position at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center involves providing high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services in an inpatient acute rehab setting. Responsibilities
- Evaluate a patient's condition and develop a treatment plan.
- Instruct nursing staff and patient's families on follow-through programs.
- Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and team members.
- Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
- Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
- Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and applicable laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
