Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
- Manage a patient case load averaging 10-12 patients per day.
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and timely using Therapy Source.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including medical notes and surgery reports.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Promote continuous quality improvement in patient care.
- Instruct and counsel patients and their families as needed.
Requirements
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation preferred but not required.
- Excellent manual therapy skills.
- Strong relationship-building qualities.
