About the position

The Physical Therapist at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation is responsible for evaluating patients' needs for physical therapy and developing individualized treatment programs. Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' needs for physical therapy and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of licensure and regulations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to determine patient needs and provide interventions.
• Maintain professional competence and seek educational opportunities for skill enhancement.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
• Adhere to safety practices and promote a safe working environment.
• Manage individual schedules and adjust as necessary based on patient census.
• Promote excellent customer service and teamwork among staff.

Requirements

• Post Graduate Certificate, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Virginia PT License or transitional license at the time of hire.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) from an AHA approved provider.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills or participation in computer training within the first year.
