About the position

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Red Bank, NJ. The Physical Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals of all ages with medical problems, injuries, or health-related conditions that limit their mobility and functional activities. The role involves developing personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, restoring function, and preventing disability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical condition, identify movement-related problems, and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the patient's specific needs.
• Use exercises, manual therapy, and equipment to relieve pain, improve strength, and enhance mobility.
• Educate patients on maintaining their health and preventing future injury through safe practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress in compliance with medical and legal requirements.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in-home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and lifestyle modifications.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
• Proven experience working as a Physical Therapist is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• CPR certification is required.
