Responsibilities
- Help patients maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and function.
- Provide interventions and conduct reexaminations every 30 days at minimum.
- Modify interventions as necessary and perform discharge planning.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state of employment.
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by CAPTE.
- One year of related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care, or approval from regional clinical leaders if less than one year of experience, along with appropriate mentoring or participation in a residency program.
- Current CPR certification.
