About the position
The Physical Therapist position at our new facility in Schaumburg focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques. The role involves conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, administering therapeutic interventions, and monitoring patient progress to improve their quality of life. The therapist will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive orthopedic care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of patients' physical conditions.
- Create individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Administer therapeutic interventions to patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout treatment.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and recovery processes.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Possession of or eligibility for an Illinois state physical therapy license.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with physicians, patients, and families.
Nice-to-haves
- 1-2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics (preferred but not mandatory).
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
