As a comprehensive medical center, Saint Francis Hospital Bartlett has the expertise to deliver quality care in a variety of specialties including Emergency Services, Inpatient & Outpatient Surgical Services, Med/Surge, Ortho, Critical Care and Women's Services. The Physical Therapy Assistant Full Time Days position involves performing patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist. The role includes documenting treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements, and working with patients from neonatal through geriatric age groups with clinical competency. The position requires the completion of established competencies within the designated introductory period.
Responsibilities
- Performs selected tests and measurements as directed by therapist
- Maintains documentation on all treatments
- Assures appropriate equipment performance prior to each use
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant
- Active U.S. military service members or veterans with any military service, training or education verified and credited by an accredited PTA program is acceptable
- State License
