About The Position

The Physical Therapy Assistant (Per Diem/Flex) at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Oklahoma City South plays a crucial role in providing compassionate care and rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients recovering from various conditions. Under the supervision of the Physical Therapy Supervisor and Occupational Therapist, the assistant will implement individualized treatment programs, maintain communication with the Physical Therapist, and ensure the safety and well-being of patients during therapy sessions.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Oklahoma license for Certified Physical Therapy Assistant.
• One year of experience in caring for adult and geriatric patients (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform standards of treatment and procedures regarding referrals and individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintain communication with the Physical Therapist regarding treatment plans.
• Provide direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
