Under the supervision of the Rehab Manager, Lead Physical Therapist, and Staff Physical Therapists, the Physical Therapist Assistant prepares patients and equipment for physical therapy. Following the initial evaluation by a registered physical therapist, the assistant administers therapy and performs documentation. The role is responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team and performing all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke's mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for physical therapy.
- Administer therapy following initial evaluation by registered physical therapist.
- Perform documentation related to therapy sessions.
- Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.

Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure by Missouri State Board of Healing Arts.
