About the position
As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Raze Therapeutics, you will work under the supervision of physical therapists to assist patients in regaining movement and managing pain. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with rehabilitative exercises and therapeutic activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising physical therapist.
- Educate patients on how to properly perform exercises at home.
- Administer modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
- Maintain patient records and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for patients.
- Provide support and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation process.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Physical stamina to assist patients with exercises and therapies.
- CPR certification.
