About the position
This position is for a Physical Therapist in a Home Health setting in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The role involves treating an adult and geriatric population, with a typical caseload of 5 to 6 patients per day. The assignment is for a duration of 3 months, with an ASAP start date. Candidates with prior Home Health experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a home health setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
- Experience in Home Health settings preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
