Our busy orthopedic practice in St. George, Utah is looking to hire a skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Responsibilities
- Provides medical care and treatment to patients under direction of supervising physician.
- Performs physical exams, collects and documents data, conducts approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Orders laboratory studies, prescribes medication, assists in surgery, rounds on inpatients, and prescribes appropriate interventions.
- Compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
- Collaborates with the supervising physician in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients.
- Ability to manage a busy clinic schedule.
- Displays willingness to make decisions and exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Successful completion of National Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Must hold licensure/certification as required by the state of Utah, and DEA.
