About the position

Penn State Health Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team, primarily responsible for managing office visits and handling pool messages for the Primary Care Metro Harrisburg Region. The role involves working across multiple office locations and may include administrative tasks or remote work when addressing pool messages. The position requires building relationships with providers during the initial orientation phase to effectively manage patient care and follow-up protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage office visits for patients in the Primary Care Metro Harrisburg Region.
• Handle pool messages and coordinate care based on provider preferences.
• Work across multiple office locations as per the schedule.
• Engage in administrative tasks when necessary, including remote work for pool messages.
• Build relationships with providers during the initial orientation phase.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or a baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in Pennsylvania.
• National Certification in Pennsylvania or another state with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
