About the position
The Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who embodies empathy, talent, and a patient-first mentality. The role focuses on providing exceptional orthopedic care in a clinic setting, emphasizing patient-centered practices and community inclusivity. The ideal candidate will possess orthopedic experience and demonstrate a positive, innovative, and collaborative approach to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide orthopedic care in a clinic setting
- Administer injections, casting, and splinting as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Colorado
- Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner Certification from ANCC or AANPCB
- Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Eligible to provide reimbursable services with Medicare and Medicaid
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges
