About the position
The position is for a healthcare provider responsible for managing clinical care in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). The provider will work flexible 6-hour shifts, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule while delivering high-quality medical services.
Responsibilities
- Rounding daily and managing clinical care for residents at assigned SNFs.
- Prescribing medications and treatments for patients.
- Providing comprehensive primary care services to patients in SNFs.
- Timely documentation of all patient care encounters in the electronic health record system.
- Available for phone and secure messaging consultations with facility nursing staff.
- Ensuring on-time attendance for scheduled shifts.
Requirements
- Medical degree and appropriate licensure to practice as a healthcare provider.
- Experience in primary care or similar clinical settings.
- Ability to use electronic health record systems, specifically ChartEasy™, PointClickCare, MatrixCare, or American HealthTech.
- Reliable transportation to travel to various facilities.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with conversational and Dragon dictation software.
