About the position

Theoria Medical is seeking dedicated Physician Assistants (PAs) to provide high-quality care at skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). This part-time, in-person role involves managing clinical care, prescribing medications, and ensuring timely documentation. The position offers flexible scheduling, primarily covering weekend needs and two holidays per year, with the opportunity to complete charting off-site.

Responsibilities

• Rounding and managing the clinical care of the population at the assigned SNF.
• Prescribing medications and treatments for residents at SNFs.
• Providing high-quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services to patients in SNFs.
• Timely documentation of all patient care encounters.
• Available for phone/secure messaging consultations with facility nursing staff.

Requirements

• Valid PA/NP license in the state of practice.
• Valid NP/PA degree from an accredited institution.
• Active DEA license (assistance provided for new graduates).
• General Post-Acute/SNF knowledge or experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and charting practices.
