About the position
The Dermatology Physician Assistant position offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual to join a supportive healthcare team in St. Michael, Minnesota. This role focuses on providing high-quality dermatological care, including patient consultations, treatment plan development, and procedural interventions. The position emphasizes professional growth and offers training for those without prior dermatology experience.
Responsibilities
- Conducting patient consultations, evaluations, and examinations.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for dermatological conditions such as Acne, Psoriasis, Cellulitis, Eczema, Dermatitis, Rashes, Shingles, and Skin cancer.
- Performing punch, shave, and excisional biopsy procedures.
- Providing guidance and education to patients on skincare and preventive measures.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical patient care experience.
- Valid and active Minnesota License.
- Strong foundational knowledge of dermatology principles and practices.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous Dermatology experience is a bonus, but not necessary.
