The Physician Assistant position in Urgent Care involves providing high-quality medical care under the supervision of a staff physician. This role is designed for experienced professionals who can work independently while being part of a supportive healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Provides high quality medical care under the supervision of the staff physician.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
• Assesses patient data to identify age-specific needs and requirements.
• Administers healthcare through diagnosis and clinical evaluation of patients of all ages.
• Develops treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Keeps patients and their families informed about the care process and addresses their needs.
• Obtains detailed patient histories and performs physical exams to develop comprehensive medical status and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner Certification or Physician Assistant Certification from New York State Education Department (NYSED).
• Master's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Valid RN License from New York State Education Department (NYSED).
• Board Eligible status.
• 1-2 years of prior urgent care experience.
