About the position

The University of Kansas Cancer Center (KUCC) is seeking a full-time academic clinical physician specializing in Breast Oncology. This role supports the mission of delivering high-quality care while fulfilling teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at a leading quaternary referral center. The physician will provide compassionate medical care to cancer patients, develop novel therapeutic options through research, and educate the next generation of cancer experts.

Responsibilities

• Provide state-of-the-art medical care to cancer patients.
• Engage in clinical, translational, and molecular research to develop innovative treatment options.
• Educate and train medical students and residents in oncology.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to academic discussions.
• Maintain a record of excellence in clinical care and research productivity.

Requirements

• Board certified/board eligible in medical oncology or hematology/oncology.
• Fellowship trained in hematology or medical oncology.
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri.
• Demonstrated record of excellence in clinical care and research.
• Interest in graduate and medical education.
