About the position

Carteret Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their expanding team. This role focuses on diagnosing, treating, and managing cardiovascular diseases using non-invasive techniques, emphasizing high-quality patient care and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cardiovascular assessments, evaluations, and consultations for new and existing patients.
• Interpret and analyze non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests, including EKG, stress tests, echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, and other imaging modalities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions, using evidence-based approaches.
• Monitor and manage chronic heart conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, and heart failure.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on preventive heart health measures, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence.
• Document patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Stay current with advancements in cardiology, including new diagnostic tools, medications, and guidelines for cardiovascular health.
• Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Professional Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Cardiology.
• Valid state medical license and DEA certification (or eligibility for state licensure).
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology with a focus on non-invasive procedures.
• Expertise in non-invasive cardiology diagnostics, including echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac imaging.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
