About The Position

We are seeking a full-time, outpatient-focused noninvasive cardiologist to join a collaborative multi-specialty medical group. This role prioritizes high-quality patient care and diagnostic cardiology services, offering a well-supported clinical environment with no call obligations and robust referral networks.

Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology. If board eligible, please provide the date of graduation.
  • Active Vermont medical license or willingness to obtain.
  • Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days of application).
  • CPR certification (to be obtained prior to start).
  • DEA registration (to be obtained prior to start).
  • CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Demonstrated excellence in diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities for effective condition assessment and treatment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and foster collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Board Certification in Cardiology.
  • Board Eligibility in Cardiology (if applicable).
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Active Vermont State License.
  • CPR for Healthcare Providers.
  • Valid Vermont medical license.
  • Valid Vermont DEA license.
  • Board certification or eligibility from the appropriate governing body.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient noninvasive cardiology services within a clinical practice.
  • Manage a patient panel in partnership with one physician and two Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Conduct and interpret EKGs for diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
  • Undertake ambulatory cardiac monitoring and analyze the resulting findings.
  • Perform transthoracic echocardiography (TTE).
  • Potential for performing nuclear stress testing and stress echocardiography.
  • Opportunity to engage in device management, though this is not a prerequisite.
  • Coordinate care with referral centers for inpatient and more complex cardiovascular cases.
  • Uphold standards for patient safety, documentation accuracy, and diagnostic integrity.
  • Participate in a structured weekday clinic schedule aligned with typical medical office hours.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical and administrative staff from various specialties, including internal medicine, neurology, and orthopaedics.
