About the position
The Revenue Cycle Director is a key management role responsible for overseeing the revenue cycle activities of a Surgical Rehab Center. This position involves directing the in-house billing and collections team, ensuring efficient insurance billing, collections, and patient financial counseling. The role requires collaboration with the CEO and COO to enhance revenue cycle performance and resolve any denials or rejected claims.
Responsibilities
- Direct the performance of the revenue cycle activities of the in-house billing and collections team.
- Resolve denials and ensure processes are in place to prevent rejected claims.
- Support and review processes, providing feedback and identifying areas of opportunity.
- Monitor performance KPIs including Registration Accuracy, POS Collections, Denial Rate, and Timely Filing.
- Review and resolve accounts and claims that are on hold, working with leadership for Missing Documentation or Claim Edits.
Requirements
- Excellent working knowledge of medical practice revenue cycle.
- 5-7 years of experience in healthcare and private practice revenue cycle.
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
