The Physician Clinic Medical Director at Concentra plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and improving the health of America's workforce. This position involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring optimal outcomes, and mentoring staff while providing direct patient care. The Medical Director collaborates with the Center Leadership Team to enhance clinical quality and patient satisfaction, with options for a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% center-based direct patient care and demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Mentor and lead by example to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
• Collaborate with the Director of Medical Operations to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement.
• Work with center leadership to ensure compliance with workflows and support optimal patient care.
• Maintain relationships with employers, payers, and local communities to drive market growth.
• Assist in managing center staffing and coverage needs.
• Observe drug/alcohol testing of patients as required.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted medical license in the state of jurisdiction.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Experience in a clinical setting with a focus on patient care and service mentality.
• Ability to supervise, evaluate, coach, and develop staff.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in occupational medicine or similar fields.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and PHI regulations.
• Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
