About the position

The Physician Clinician Recruiter at PeaceHealth is responsible for the full lifecycle recruitment of physicians and clinicians, supporting Northwest Washington and Southeast Alaska. This hybrid role involves developing relationships with hiring managers and executive leadership, providing regular updates on recruitment status, and maintaining a high level of customer service. The recruiter will implement recruitment strategies, perform candidate screenings, and ensure effective employment practices to attract and retain diverse talent.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full lifecycle recruitment, sourcing, and hiring of physicians and clinicians.
  • Develop and maintain consultative relationships with hiring managers and executive leadership.
  • Provide reporting and regular status updates to recruitment leadership and hiring managers.
  • Implement recruitment strategies based on departmental and organizational needs.
  • Train hiring managers and teams on recruitment and interviewing processes.
  • Perform initial screening of candidates to determine qualifications and fit.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring leaders and coordinate interview itineraries.
  • Attend on-site interviews and guide candidates throughout the site visit.
  • Aggressively source and recruit well-qualified candidates from various sources.
  • Network with PeaceHealth medical staff to identify potential candidates.
  • Track potential future candidates during their medical education process.
  • Develop a strong understanding of compensation and relocation packages.
  • Ensure achievement of hiring goals through effective resource management.
  • Collaborate with HR and Diversity and Inclusion teams to incorporate diversity goals into recruitment plans.
  • Promote PeaceHealth at recruitment functions and analyze hiring data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent knowledge and skills preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years direct physician or clinician recruitment experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years full lifecycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience using various sourcing techniques including online resources and networking.
  • Previous Human Resources experience or HR degree preferred.
  • Certifications such as Physician/Clinician Recruitment Professional, PHR, SPHR, RACS, or RACR preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and knowledge of full lifecycle recruitment process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.
  • Basic knowledge of labor unions and human resource functional areas.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • In-depth understanding of service level agreements.
