About the position

The Physician Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in executing physician compensation models and providing support to the physician compensation team, operations stakeholders, and physicians. This position focuses on enhancing the physician compensation experience through process improvements and ensuring compliance with contracts and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly and quarterly compensation modeling to ensure accurate and timely pay for physicians.
  • Maintain and administer physician compensation in accordance with contracts and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the physician compensation inbox and update changes within internal systems such as Smartsheet.
  • Assist in the development of compensation policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Serve as a point of contact for compensation-related inquiries and issues.
  • Provide ad hoc data analysis and analytical support for internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee a physician support service desk, managing tickets and ensuring timely responses.
  • Support Power BI administration, including maintenance of security protocols and data quality assurance.
  • Build and present training resources for end users regarding Power BI reports and physician compensation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare-related industry.
  • 2-5 years of combined experience in FP&A, Accounting, analytics, customer service, or administrative roles.
  • Experience with physician services consulting in a multi-location practice is preferred.
  • Experience in physician compensation is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, especially in Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare analytics or consulting.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet and Power BI.
