About the position

At HonorHealth, the Physician Compensation Data Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing the healthcare experience by preparing and interpreting financial analyses that are vital for the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of billing and coding information, which is essential for collecting data related to medical group provider compensation and productivity. The analyst will work closely with leadership and various teams to provide specific clinical and financial data analysis, ensuring that the organization can make informed decisions based on accurate data. The role involves extensive data mining and abstracting financial and clinical information from various decision support tools. This data will be used for recurring monthly and quarterly reports, as well as ad hoc reporting needs. The analyst will work with large datasets to identify trends and patterns, helping to draw conclusions and make recommendations for future efforts. Utilizing internally supported database programs, the analyst will collect information necessary for physician productivity and compensation analysis, providing leadership with reconciliations, analysis, and problem-solving support regarding Physician and Management Service Agreements. In addition to data analysis, the Physician Compensation Data Analyst will be responsible for presenting actionable data to end users in formats that best meet their needs. This includes publishing key reports using Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. The analyst will also provide support to users in interpreting and presenting data, which may involve presenting findings to individuals and groups as necessary. Furthermore, the role requires interaction and collaboration with various departments to ensure data integrity and promote process improvement across departmental lines. The analyst will assist in the implementation and maintenance of various reporting structures, leveraging their advanced knowledge of the healthcare delivery system, including regulations, policies, and procedures related to physician compensation arrangements.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work related experience is required.
