About the position

Work with an exceptional Emergency Medicine team focused on patient safety on the Oregon coast in beautiful Florence, Oregon! Emergency Medicine 12-hour shifts at Peace Harbor Medical Center Level III Trauma Center. Work with a team of board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians and Emergency Medicine APCs.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a Level III Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with a team of board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians and APCs.
• Manage patient care during 12-hour shifts, both day and night.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care in the emergency department.

Requirements

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Experience in a Level III Trauma Center is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with high ED volumes (11,000 - 12,000/year).
• Familiarity with hospitalist, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, OB/GYN, and CRNA services.
