About the position
HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified gastroenterologist to join their established GI team in O'Fallon, Illinois. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality gastroenterology care to patients of all ages.
- Participate in a Monday to Friday clinic schedule with the option of a 4-day work week.
- Manage 7 days of call per month and conduct inpatient rounds while on call.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management.
- Collaborate with dedicated support staff to enhance patient care.
Requirements
- Unrestricted Illinois medical license prior to start.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- M.D., D.O., or equivalent clinical doctorate degree required.
- Competence in delivering healthcare services to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable.
- Completion of an accredited residency program.
