About the position

Provides comprehensive Gastroenterology medical care to all patients served by Hillsboro Medical Center. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes a team concept and reflects our values of Compassion, Collaboration, Excellence and Integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive Gastroenterology medical care to patients.
  • Promote a team concept in all duties performed.
  • Participate in a 50:50 Endoscopy to Clinic split.
  • Engage in 32 hours per week of direct patient care and 8 hours of clinical administrative time.
  • Be on call every 4th week for 1 week at a time.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school with appropriate residency training.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (Licensed in Oregon).
  • Active staff membership in good standing with the medical staff of the hospital.
  • Demonstrates skill in caring for specialty-related patients.
  • Effective communication skills to work with patients, families, and co-workers.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
