About the position
Tennova Newport Medical Center is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join a well-established practice in Newport, TN. This employed position offers a supportive management team and staff, with the opportunity to work alongside another physician and a nurse practitioner. The role includes access to office space, an Endo Suite, and morning block time, with a focus on providing quality care in a community known for its outdoor living and recreational opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Join an established practice with one other physician and a nurse practitioner.
- Provide gastroenterology services to the community.
- Utilize available office space and Endo Suite for patient care.
- Participate in morning block time for procedures.
- Collaborate with the management team and staff to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a similar role.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with ERCP and/or EUS procedures is helpful but not required.
