About the position
Tennova Jefferson Memorial Hospital is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join a hospital-owned clinic. This position focuses on outpatient care, with a preference for candidates experienced in ERCP, although it is not a requirement. The role offers a supportive environment with dedicated GI staff and experienced anesthesia providers, along with a strong referral base from primary care physicians.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient gastroenterology services in a multi-specialty clinic.
- Perform ERCP procedures as needed.
- Participate in call coverage, a minimum of 10 days per month, with additional compensation available.
- Utilize office space and equipment provided by the hospital.
- Collaborate with a dedicated GI staff and anesthesia providers.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Preference for candidates with over five years of experience, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Ability to perform outpatient procedures.
