About the position

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist specializing in blood and marrow transplant to join the Division of Hematologic Malignancies and Cellular Therapeutics. This position involves providing medical care to both outpatient and hospitalized patients, contributing to research and educational initiatives, and serving as a clinician educator. The division is recognized as the largest BMT and Cellular Immunotherapy program in Kansas, with a commitment to innovative treatments and a comprehensive portfolio of clinical trials.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care for both outpatient clinic and hospitalized patients
  • Contribute to various research, educational and clinical initiatives related to areas of individual interest and expertise
  • Serve in a clinician educator role with responsibility for education of house staff

Requirements

  • Completed an ACGME accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship
  • Board certified/eligible in Hematology
  • Completion of a BMT fellowship program preferred
