About the position

The Primary Care Physician role is a full-time position in an established multi-provider adult primary care practice located in a desirable community in Connecticut. The position focuses on 100% outpatient primary care for adults aged 18 and older, with an emphasis on work-life balance through a flexible schedule and infrequent call requirements. The practice offers access to various support services and utilizes advanced technology for efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for adult patients (18+)
• Engage in infrequent phone call duties to maintain work/life balance
• Optionally participate in teaching with a faculty appointment
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health, High Risk Nurse Care Managers, and Social Workers
• Utilize EPIC EMR with Dragon for patient management
• Ensure seamless operations through LEAN Daily Management practices

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Valid medical license to practice in Connecticut
• Experience in outpatient primary care settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Interest in teaching or mentoring
• Familiarity with behavioral health integration
