About the position
MaineHealth Primary Care is seeking a Full-Time BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide care at our office in Farmington, Maine. The role involves joining a dynamic team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, delivering primary care and preventive services to a population of approximately 40,000. The position offers opportunities for teaching and leadership development, along with a competitive compensation model that includes loan repayment options.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients.
- Participate in teaching opportunities for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Engage in community-focused practice serving a rural population.
- Participate in call rotation as required.
Requirements
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- NRP certification required; PALS highly recommended.
