About the position
The position involves the evaluation and management of a broad scope of patients, ranging from non-acute to severely ill. The role requires performing minor procedures, including pelvic exams, laceration repairs, and incision and drainage. The candidate will independently analyze reports and findings from laboratory tests, EKGs, and X-rays to formulate a plan of care and diagnosis. Additionally, the role includes prescribing medication and treatment in a safe manner consistent with current medical standards of practice. Clear, complete, and thorough documentation in the medical record is essential, along with effective communication with patients and other healthcare staff.
Responsibilities
